User talk:Fadix/Armenian Genocide
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
OK - I've read through it. I like the footnotes and I'm generally OK with the shortened camps section - however I think some of the sentences could be reworked better - I suggest that perhaps lisitng the camps in bulitized form after the first sentence would read better. Maybe I will try a slight re-write. I'm somewhat occupied right now as my wife is going to be out of town on business leaving me to tend to kids and such - so I will have to see when I can get to it. --THOTH 22:58, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Turkey Author Of Genocide
Hi Fadix,
I added a table to the "Armenian Casualties" section of your article of the Armenian Genocide, I'm sorry, I'm new to the Wikipedia, I saw that you reversed the changes I made, leaving a note, saying, use the talk first. It's up to you, to put the table back or not, I just wanted to help. I have a book in Armenian if you can read it, by Dr. Yervand Khatanasian, titled study of "The Armenian opulation in Turkey" published 1965 , on the Armenian population and casualties, scaned, if you want I can send it to you.

- I know from where it comes from, but we can not use absolute numbers to represent the casulties, it is not encyclopedic to do that. There is already a main article that is just about that(casulties). Also, this entry only covers the Armenian genocide and not previous massacres. Fadix 18:21, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Armenians in the First Turkish Census After the Foundation of The Republic
Hi fadix,
Do you have any idea about the number of the Armenians in the 1927's census ? Thanks in advance --Maral79 12:10, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
- If you have questions, post them in my talk page, since this is the talk page of my working version, I don't check it quite often, because I don't expect any answers. The answer to your question is 123,602. Fadix 23:14, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
