Facility 615

Facility 615 is the double-circuit 110kV-line for three phase AC current between Calmbach and Pforzheim/West of the EnBW AG. The Enztal Span near Calmbach with a width from 1372.8 meters and the Eyachtal Span point these 1992 finished line with yards between mast number 15 in your process two remarkable valley overvoltages to (geographical coordinates: 8°33'35" eastern length, 48°48'14" northern latitude) and mast number 16 (geographical coordinates: 48°48'38" northern latitude, 8°33'00" eastern length) with a width of 1444 meters. The latter has the largest span of an overhead line between two masts in Germany. In contrast to the Elbe crossing 1 and Elbe crossing 2 the masts are relatively low (70 meters in the case of the Eyachtal Span), since with their realization the mountainous topography of the black forest could be used favourably.
