[edit] Picture

There must be a better picture out there. After all, the article states "He is regarded as something of a sex symbol in his native Italy and was recently voted sexiest player of the 2006 World Cup." A picture of him playing soccer would be nice. - Slow Graffiti 21:59, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

I definitely agree. The CafĂș page shows a picture of him raising the world cup, why not do the same with Cannavaro, as he was the world cup winner captain? I know there's some better pictures out there User:Orurum 09:27, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Death

Someone posted this at the top of the article:

HEARTBREAKING NEWS:::: all fans cannavaro tragically dies on the 14th of september 2006 at 2.41 pm after a horrific car accident we hope you rest in peace and may we all look at your light

Didn't cite a source and in the wrong section anyway, so reverted. --WikiSlasher 10:45, 14 September 2006 (UTC) Well someone else did, vandalism apparently. There will always be idiots in the world. --WikiSlasher 10:47, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] european player of the year

- ok. this has now been confirmed and he has won it. Buffon in second and Henry in third. I dont really understand how Cannavaro won it, he was part of a team that won the title through match fixing, and a national team that won it on pentalties...but whatever..

[edit] Tattoo

What do the Chinese characters on Canna's back mean. I couldn't find a translation, or a picture of the tattoo. Does anyone know what it means? The article makes me want to know. ABart26 17:00, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
