In the English Premier League, The FA Premier League Manager of the Year Award is annual award given to a manager who is recognised for their overall achievement to a specific team. The award has been given out since the sponsorship of the Carling Premiership in 1993.

- 1997: Alex Ferguson, (Manchester United F.C.) - Winning his fourth Premiership Title.
- 1998: Arsène Wenger, (Arsenal F.C.) - For becoming the first foreign manager to win the title and guiding Arsenal to an FA Cup triumph.
- 1999: Sir Alex Ferguson, (Manchester United F.C.) - For Winning a Unique Treble: (Champions League, Premiership and F.A. Cup).
- 2000: Sir Alex Ferguson, (Manchester United F.C.) - Winning Manchester United's sixth title in eight years.
- 2001: George Burley, (Ipswich Town F.C.) - Guiding Ipswich Town to Europe in their first season back in the top flight. (The only manager to win the award despite not winning the Premiership title.)
