F.A.C.T.S.

F.A.C.T.S. is an acronym for Fantasy Anime Comics Toys Space, the biggest science fiction, fantasy, comics, and anime convention in Benelux, Belgium.
Launched in 1993 in Ghent, it has grown over the years and now welcomes over 6,000 visitors at each edition. Since 1998 the F.A.C.T.S. convention is held in the I.C.C. in Ghent, Belgium. The convention covers almost 5,000 m2.

- Merchandise sold by a variety of dealers, most West-European, but also some from the U.S.A.
- Competitions including card games, consoles, model kits, and cosplay
- Demonstrations on make-up artistry, model kit building, etc.
- Large screen projections, mostly of recent anime titles
- Props (an AT-AT scale 1/4, a life size Jabba The Hut, etc.)
- Free arcade games (pinballs, consoles, etc.)
- The possibility to meet guest stars; Comic artists George Perez, Romano, and Cam Kennedy have attended the convention, as well as actors David Carradine, John Rhys-Davies, Ray Park, Don S. Davis, Corin Nemec, Jeremy Bulloch, Dirk Benedict, and Matthew Wood.
