Frank Lawrence Lucas (1894 - 1967) was a English literary critic, essayist, poet, and Fellow of King's College, Cambridge. He is now best remembered for his scathing attacks on the poetry of T. S. Eliot, during the 1920s, and his book Style (1955), though students of Aristotle's Poetics will relish reading his Tragedy (1927, substantially revised in 1957).
