[edit] Greg Green
- What would be more helpful to the debate, rather than just another opinion, are independently-authored reviews or profiles of Green and his books which can be cited to establish his standing. --Dystopos 14:03, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
I believe the High Times guy has probably made the best statement in that Greg Green is sourced by their staff for their journal. I don't think a biography is a requirement for inclusion in the article. I think reviews would be mostly in trade magazines like High Times and Cannabis Culture. (F0xfree 16:33, 30 November 2006 (UTC))
- A bio article isn't required, but it would do a lot to establish his notability. We do need something verifiable to back up the anonymous contributor's claim that Green is "often cited". --Dystopos 16:58, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- Change the article substantially in a verifiable way and I would be the first to change my vote, SqueakBox 21:57, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sockpuppetry case
You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Simonapro for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page, SqueakBox 17:02, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
I think this is pretty much Bad faith. I am not in New York and that is not my IP. Yes I said New York. Does that ring a bell? If it doesn't then I wonder why you are contributing to Cannabis at all. Low and behold the IP is in New York from the staff member claiming to be from "High Times" magazine. Now ain't that a fat one to smoke. (F0xfree 21:42, 30 November 2006 (UTC))
Sorry I dont have a clue what you are on about (remember I am not American). As to why I contribute to the cannabis articles, its a subject I know something about and I wish to see the articles retain an NPOV status and not be distorted by prohibitionists or pro pot kids, SqueakBox 21:56, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
I am not American either but I know High Times is in NY. It is obvious that the NY entry is probably legit. (F0xfree 06:15, 1 December 2006 (UTC))
[edit] AfD Nomination being used in a personal dispute
An antagonist (Descendall) has nominated the article Dan James Pantone about a notable scientist for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. His only reason for doing so is a personal dispute. Essentially, Descendall is using this AfD nomination to anonymously defame this scientist and the indigenous rights organization he co-founded. The scientist is clearly notable using the "Professor Test." Please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dan James Pantone. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Dan James Pantone during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. -- Matses 02:19, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
