Félix Alexander Borja Valencia (born April 2, 1983) is an Ecuadorian footballer who currently plays for Olympiacos CFP.
He is a forward and is included in the Ecuadorian national team for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, despite his relative inexperience. He played in several of the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches for the Ecuadorian national team.
Felix Borja previously played for El Nacional of Ecuador. His transfer to Greek league champions Olympiacos made him the first Ecuadorian player to play for a Greek team.
Borja was declared Copa Libertadores de América's top goalscorer two months after his transfer to Olympiacos.
He is nicknamed the "kangaroo", for the spring in his jump, and this was never more true than in the October 11th, [2006] friendly international game between Ecuador and Brazil in Stockholm, Sweden. In the 23rd minute, a curling cross from Edison Mendez put the ball in the goal mouth and while Brazil's keeper, Gomes, came rushing out and attempted to control the ball, Borja sprung in and headed home for the game's first goal.
Borja's First goal with Olympiacos
Borja scored his first Super League Greece goal with Olympiacos during a game against OFI Crete in Pankritio stadium, Crete after 86 minutes with the score at 1-1. After Michalis Konstantinou failed to score, Felix took the ball on the rebound and scored into the empty net.(Because Sifakis (gk) has tried to stop Michalis Konstantinou to score)
