Fåberg

Fåberg is a village and former municipality in Oppland county, Norway.
The municipality was created as Faaberg formannskapsdistrikt in 1837. On 1 January 1964 Fåberg was incorporated into the neighboring municipality Lillehammer. Prior to the merger Fåberg had 13,381 inhabitants [1].
The district Fåberg contains the villages Fåberg and Jørstadmoen. Combined, they form an urban area with a population of 1,342 [2].
