Ezra Brooks
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ezra Brooks is a brand of Bourbon (whiskey).
Ezra Brooks is a St. Louis, Missouri product which has previously been compared by its own print advertising to Jack Daniel's. It is still bottled at 90 proof but is no longer distributed in very elaborate bottles resembling decanters. It is sold in bottles with a cork cap. The nature of its aging and the time over which it is aged combine to give it a rich, dark brown color. The taste is considered to be smooth by some connoisseurs.
[edit] Tradition
The tradition of Ezra Brooks Bourbon can be traced back to the early 1800s. Seven generations of whiskey making knowledge was accrued to give the Ezra Brooks Bourbon a distictive character unique of The Bluegrass State. Select grains, limestone water, and special natural aging give Ezra Brooks a distictive charcoal filtered flavor.
