Eyghon the Sleepwalker is a demon in the cult show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He was portrayed by Daniel Henry Murray, Wendy Way and Robia LaMorte.

Eyghon the Sleepwalker is a possessing demon that can only manifest in this dimension by possessing an unconscious host. Temporary possession causes an euphoric sensation of power - or more simply "an extraordinary high", according to Giles. However, if the rituals are not done correctly, the possession is permanent, and Eyghon is "born from within the host". When this happens, the host body is transformed: the forehead splits open in patches to reveal demon skin beneath and the ears become pointed. Once summoned, Eyghon can also take possession of the dead, however the demon's essence causes the body to dissolve, forcing Eyghon to pass to the nearest dead or unconscious being. This will also happen if the life of the host is threatened.

Eyghon was summoned by Rupert Giles, then known as "Ripper", and his friends: Ethan Rayne, Philip Henry, Diedre Page, Thomas Sutcliffe and Randall (only known by that name, unknown if it is first or last). The six tattooed themselves with the Mark of Eyghon, a symbol of Etruscan origin worn by Eyghon's initiates and which serves as a homing beacon to attract Eyghon. During their sessions, one of the group would be put to sleep and the others would summon the demon. However, eventually, one of them lost control - Randall. Eyghon took him whole. The others tried to exorcise him but only succeeded in killing Randall.

In late 1997, Eyghon resurfaced again to exact his revenge on those that had toyed with him. It is unknown how it got back into the world. The 'Monster Book' suggests that it happened when one of the group died of other causes and Eyghon possessed the Marked corpse. Thomas Sutcliffe was probably the first to die - though his death was never shown on screen, his name was crossed out on the list. Diedre Page was shown, dead and possessed, hunting Philip Henry. She dissolved when Eyghon left her. When Eyghon killed Philip it took some time for his corpse to rise again, so he was found by police and seen in the morgue by Giles. Once possessed, he came to the library hunting Ethan and Giles.

Ethan and Giles were made aware of Eyghon's presence thanks to a number of visions shared through the Mark. In the body of Philip, Eyghon attacked Giles at the library, but was captured. However, the demon escaped and knocked Jenny Calendar out. Philip's body dissolved and Eyghon jumped into Jenny, initially unnoticed. Giles took her to his house. Once there, Eyghon manifested and tried to kill Giles, but Buffy drove him away.

Eyghon next went after Ethan. Rayne had captured Buffy when she tried to protect him, and tattooed her with the Mark of Eyghon. He then destroyed his own tattoo with acid, hoping Eyghon would go after Buffy instead of him. This worked, and Eyghon pushed Ethan aside to get to Buffy. While they fought, Giles arrived, and tried to get Eyghon to spare Buffy by offering his own life. The demon turned to Giles and pushed Buffy away telekinetically. As Eyghon tried to grab Giles, Angel charged in and attacked Eyghon. With Jenny's body in danger of death, Eyghon jumped into Angel's body. However, Eyghon met with Angel's inner vampire demon, who viciously fought and drove Eyghon out.
