Extasy Records
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Extasy Records is a record label in Japan created in the late 1980s by Yoshiki Hayashi (Yoshiki), founder of the Visual Kei rock group X Japan, financed by the money earned from his mother selling the family business. It was the original promoter of young, aggressive musicians and Visual bands in Japan and groomed the likes of Luna Sea, Glay, Ladies Room etc.
It later expanded into the United States, but with limited success and the US branch soon folded.
