Carl Erskine's Tales from the Dodgers Dugout: Extra Innings is a book by former Major League Baseball All-Star pitcher Carl Erskine. It is a compilation of short stories about life in the glory days of Major League Baseball. The forward was penned by Hall of Fame announcer Vin Scully.

Carl Erskine was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1948-1959. He spent his entire career playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers, and subsequently the Los Angeles Dodgers after the franchised moved prior to the 1958 season.
This autobiography compiles numerous short stories about life during the glory days of Major League Baseball. It recounts tales about former Major League heroes such as Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Preacher Roe, Roy Campanella, and Gil Hodges.
