Something should be said about how terrible the 8300 can be sometimes. Lol.

The article stated "The HDMI implemetation does not work with all splitters, switches..." or even long cables! I have a 10M HDMI cable (ok... a cheap 10M cable) and the display produces the dreaded "sparklies" (random transient white pixels)and even occassional horizontal streaks. Scientific Atlanta was no help... Cox was no help... and why am I surprised? -Doug
