Category:Exact solutions in general relativity
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In general relativity, the Einstein field equation is a nonlinear system of partial differential equations in four independent variables. It is notoriously difficult to find exact solutions of this equation. Nonetheless, thousands of exact solutions are known, and some of these are sufficiently important to have their own names and even their own Wikipedia articles. We collect them here.
