Ex-Centris

Ex-Centris is a film production, screening center and movie theater in Montréal, Canada.

A project started in 1996 by Daniel Langlois, Ex-Centris combines a state-of-the-art multi-screen movie theater with an avant-garde research and production center geared toward new digital technologies. after 2 years of construction, the center opened in June 1999. It is a five-storey cultural complex that covers 150,000 square feet and is home to several activities associated with media arts. Ex-Centris is both a cinematographic research laboratory and a state-of-the-art film screening facility.
