The EWS Company Train is a train, known internally as the CoT.

[edit] Purpose

An office on the railway, the CoT is also used for customers, management, staff trips, functions and charity events. The train provides a "Conference" coach with cinema and conference suites, a "Dining" coach with reception and bar area and a "Sleeper" coach containing five bedrooms, two with En-suite bathrooms. The train consist is a push / pull configuration with a Class 67 locomotive and MKIII DVT, and has been given a special livery of maroon with Class 67 diesel locomotive No. 67029 and the DVT being given a special silver livery.

It consists of 3 British Rail Mark 3 coaches: a conference coach with a cinema and conference suites; a dining coach with reception and bar area; and a sleeping coach; plus a Mk3 Driving Van Trailer (DVT):

  • Class67 No. 67029 in silver with forward facing camera
  • Mk3 Buffet No. 10211 in maroon, with reception area
  • Mk3 FO No.11039 in maroon, made out as a conference room
  • Mk3 RFM No. 10546 in maroon
  • Mk 3 DVT No. 82146 in silver with forward facing camera
