English: This image is one of my favourites. It was taken during the war in 1992 in Sarajevo in the partially destroyed National Library. The cello player is local musician Vedran Smailovic, who often came to play for free at different funerals during the siege despite the fact that funerals were often targetted by Serb forces. Français : Cette photo est l'un de mes préférées. Je l'ai prise pendant la guerre en 1992, à Sarajevo, dans la Bibliothèque Nationale partiellement détruite. Le violoncelliste est Vedran Smailovic, un musicien local qui venant souvent jouer gratuitement aux enterrements pendant le siège, en dépit des forces serbes qui les prenaient régulièrement pour cible.
