[edit] Michael Ruse

I am puzzled why you removed the categories Canadian academics and Canadian philosophers for Michael Ruse. He spends two years in the US and becomes an American? but spends 35+ years in Canada and ceases to be a Canadian? Michael Ignatieff is a Canadian teaching at Harvard - that does not turn him into an American. I doubt very much that Ruse has American citizenship, but is a Canadian citizen working temporarily after retirement in the USA. He is not a biologist in the scientific sense, but a philosopher. Please restore the categories. "People from Ontario" is totally unhelpful, except for people who cannot be fit into a more useful category. BrentS 04:23, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
