Evolver is a 1995 Mark Rosman horror/science fiction B-movie. It starred Ethan Embry, Cassidy Rae, Chance Quinn, and John de Lancie. It also had William H. Macy as the voice of Evolver (Credited as W.H. Macy). The movie was frequently aired in the early days of the Sci Fi Channel and has a small cult following that enjoys its campiness. Most mainstream critics viewed the film as very average and outdated at the time of its release as the era of the cyberpunk movie was largely over.

A teenage computer whiz wins a robotic opponent to compete against in a real-world laser tag-style game. However, the robot, known as "Evolver", becomes smarter and more dangerous as it plays putting the boy and his friends in mortal danger.
