Every Man for Himself is the third studio album by Hoobastank. It was released on May 16, 2006, and May 8 of the same year in the UK. The first single is "'If I Were You'". A Limited Edition of "Every Man For Himself" was released in a green color scheme (as opposed to the red one featured here) and, much to the disappointment of Hoobastank fans in the USA, the green limited edition one contained no bonus track and was no different from the red edition.

Those who pre-ordered Every Man for Himself from Apple's iTunes Music Store, received a bonus track called "Face the Music."

Those who purchased the album in Japan received 2 bonus tracks with their green limited edition CD's titled "Finally Awake" and "Waiting". They also receive a DVD with bonus content.

Hoobastank has announced the "Every Fan for Himself" tour which is billed as a fan appreciation tour, and will help promote the new album.

Bass player Markku Lappalainen does not appear on this album. It is not known who shall replace him.

Unlike previous Hoobastank albums in the UK, this album will have no singles released from it.

The album was leaked onto the Internet on May 2, 2006, two weeks before its official release date.
