The Evans County School District is the county government agency which operates public schools in Evans County. The elementary, middle, and high schools have been fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges as well as the Schools and the Georgia Accrediting Commission. There are currrently 1,888 students and 122 teachers, a ratio of 15:1.

Mr. Marion Shaw is the current superintendent.
