Evangel University is a private liberal arts university located in Springfield, Missouri and has, since its foundation, been affiliated with the Assemblies of God Church. The university's offered degrees are: Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, and graduate degrees.

EU has an extensive athletic department featuring the "the winningest collegiate football team in the state of Missouri - at any level." Their mascot is the Crusader. There is a student sponsored Soccer Team and at one time (2001) a Rugby Football Club as well.
