Evan Horwood (born. March 10, 1986 in Billingham) is a young is an English footballer, who plays for Sheffield United in the position of left-back.

He signed for United as a trainee in 2004. He has made only one appearance for the Blades, this was as a substitute in a League Cup 3rd Round tie at Reading on October 25, 2005.

A left-back who is also competent at centre-half, Horwood has been loaned out to Stockport County, Scunthorpe United, York City, Chester City and Darlington respectively. He remains a promising prospect for the future.

In season 2006-07, he has featured in three of Sheffield United's Reserves 'A' matches. On October 13, 2006, he joined Darlington on a one month loan.
