Eva Jablonka

Eva Jablonka, born in 1952 in Poland and emigrated to Israel in 1957. She is a professor at the Cohn Institute for the History of Philosophy of Science and Ideas at Tel Aviv University who was awarded the Landau Prize of Israel in 1981 and the Marcus prize in 1988. She publishes about evolutionary themes. She is an author of books about evolution and two recent titles of hers are Evolution in Four Dimensions coauthored with Marion J. Lamb and Animal Traditions: Behavioural Inheritance in Evolution coauthored with Eytan Avital. Since "academic and political issues cannot really be kept apart" Jablonka is quite engaged in politics.
