This is a strange new meaning of "major" I wasn't previously aware. --Calton | Talk 06:00, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

Bachmann trains, for example, is a huge manufacturer that sells internationally. Eureka is not on the same scale as Bachmann. I do not claim it to be. However, within the Australian model railway market (and it's not that small), Eureka is a prominent manufacturer. They have been in business less than a year, but already have significant sales. I'm not making it up, nor do I have any connection to Eureka Models. Simply providing the page as an information source for Wikipedia users. It's a real company. It has real customers. It's not a trivial entry (unlike the countless wikipedia pages about Japanese anime characters...)

Begging your pardon, but it is PRECISELY on the level of pages on anime characters: otaku is otaku, whether for Japanese cartoon characters, RPGs, or model trains. That it's YOUR particular hobby doesn't change it's status relative to the rest of the world.

And if you're going to use the word "major", then you ought to use the same definition consistently. You call it "major" in your edit summary, but then say it's not in your comments above. Which is it?

For further information on inclusion guidelines for companies, "real" or otherwise, see WP:CORP.

Eureka Models produce highly detailed Ready to Run Locomotives & Railcars/motors to the Australian Market of HO Scale Modellers. In the use of the word major - Eureka models is playing a major role in the advancement of the detail that can be found in the Australian model industry. Externally the detail found in these models are excellent although there running charactoristics and the use of coupling modules leaves alot to be desired, especially due to the prices asked, the detail of a model should not be valkued higher than the operational side of things WB
