Europeans in the Philippines

According to a recent survey, citizens of European countries in the Philippines number about 13,661, excluding Spaniards and Basques. However, this number does not include semi-permanent residents.
[edit] Nationality and religious affinities
The majority of the Europeans living in the Philippines are British, who number about 12,000. Germans number about 961, and French about 700. Unaccounted are Dutch, Belgians, and other Central Europeans, who are for the most part, either semi-permanent settlers, NGOs, or missionaries.
