The 2007 European Basketball Championship, commonly called Eurobasket 2007, will be the 35th regional championship held by FIBA Europe. The competition will be hosted by Spain and will take place between September 3, 2007 to September 16, 2007.

The draw for Eurobasket 2007 was held in Madrid, October 19, 2006.

[edit] Qualifying Tournament

The last team in the Group A will qualify through a tournament that will be held in the summer of 2007, prior to the Eurobasket. The ten teams competing for the place in the group stage of the Eurobasket are divided into three groups. The winners of these qualifying groups will form a new group, and the winner of this newly formed group will take place on the final competition in the group A.
