Eureka has a student body that usually numbers over a thousand students. The class of 2009 has a total 421 students. Most students are from Wildwood Middle School or Lasalle Middle School.

In addition to the standard Rockwood sports teams, EHS also has Lacrosse, Ice Hockey and Rugby club teams.
[edit] Academics
In 2004, Newsweek named Eureka one of the most challenging High Schools in the country. Time also listed Eureka among its top 1000 high schools.
