Eugenie Anderson

Eugenie Anderson (née Moore) (Helen Eugenie Moore Anderson) (May 26, 1909 – March 31, 1997) was a U.S. diplomat.
She lived most of her life in Red Wing, Minnesota with her husband John Anderson and her two children, Hans and Johanna. She was appointed by President Truman as U.S. ambassador to Denmark, and she was later appointed by Kennedy to be ambassador to Bulgaria. After her retirement from these posts, she later worked as a U.S. diplomat at the United Nations.
