Etrian Odyssey, formely known as Yggdrasil Labyrinth, [1] is a 3D dungeon RPG in development by Atlus for the Nintendo DS, and was announced by Atlus through Famitsu after showing it behind closed doors at E3 2006. In Japan the game will be known as Sekaiju no Meikyu and will be released by January 2007, however no release date has been announced. The development team within Atlus is being lead by Kazuya Niino who also directed the development of Atlus' first in-house game for the DS, Trauma Center: Under the Knife. The game will feature character designs by Yuuji Himukai, monster design by Shin Nagasawa, a story by Shigeo Kobayashi, and music by Yuzo Koshiro.
