Ethics-palooza
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Common nickname for the annual "Recommitment to Ethics Day" hosted by Boeing's Integrated Defense Systems. The event was first held in 2005 at the Family Arena for workers in the St. Louis metro area. Numerous Boeing employees objected to the bussing of thousands of workers to and from the Family Arena just to watch several ethics training videos instead of simply watching the same videos in local conference rooms or even online. The event was precipitated by dubious conduct by several individuals including Darleen Druyun, Michael M. Sears, and Phil Condit relating to the KC-767 tanker program scandal.
