Eta Geminorum (η Gem / η Geminorum) is a star in the constellation Gemini. It also has the traditional names Tejat Prior, Propus and Pish Pai (from Persian Pīshpāy پیشپای meaning foreleg).[1]
Eta Geminorum is a semiregular variable star of the Mu Cephei type, whose brightness changes with a period of 235 days between magnitude +3.24 and +3.96. It is located 250 light years from the Sun, and is a red giant of the spectral type M3.
