"Et seq.", an abbreviation of the Latin phrase "et sequentes" (masculine and feminine plural) or "et sequentia" (neuter) meaning "and the following," is a legal term indicating that a writer is citing to a page and the pages that follow or a statutory section or subsection and the sections or subsections that follow it.
