The cover image was originally published as part of "Life Tours the Children's TV Shows," Life, December 24, 1951. On the television program Grand Chance Roundup, nine-year-old Paul Oudinot held aloft his brother and sister to compete for the chance to work on Steel Pier in Atlantic City.
