Estrie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Estrie is an administrative region of Quebec. It is often called Les Cantons de l'Est in French, a calque of the English term Eastern Townships. Although the administrative and touristic regions called Estrie (or Eastern Townships) are somewhat similar, they have very different geographical differences.
Estrie comprises most of the area historically known as the Eastern Townships.
