Esther Newberg

Esther Newberg is a literary agent for ICM in New York. Intelligent and stylish, she has represented authors such as Carl Hiaasen (Skinny Dip) and Patricia Cornwell (Trace).

Newberg became Senior Vice President of International Creative Management, one of the nation's largest entertainment agencies. Newberg's clients also include best-selling authors, Thomas Friedman, Michael Beschloss and Caroline Kennedy.

Prior to her present career, Newberg enjoyed success as a political operative. She has served on the staffs of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and Abraham Ribicoff and as staff director for Congresswoman Bella Abzug. She was also a key member in the presidential campaign staffs of Senator Edmund Muskie and Congressman Morris Udall.
