Esther McVey

Esther McVey (b. 24 October 1967, Liverpool, England, UK) is a British TV presenter, businesswoman and aspiring politician.
McVey has presented or appeared on GMTV and programmes such as 5's Company, The Heaven and Earth Show and Shopping City.Channel4's 'Nothing But The Truth' with Ann Widdecombe
In 2005, McVey unsuccessfully stood as a Conservative Party candidate in the UK General Election, in the Wirral West constituency. She has been placed on the 'A-list' of Conservative parliamentary candidates ahead of the next general election [1].
McVey founded the business network Winning Women based in Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington and Chester www.winningwomen.co.uk
McVey opened office and incubator space in Merseyside to help new start up companies.
She takes over Pete Price's presentation of the late night phone in on Radio City 96.7 whenever he is absent. However, she only hosts the first two hours of the show. Jay Hynd, the producer, takes over the Peaceful Hour and then Pete Price's "best bits" (i.e. highlights of previous shows) replace the open forum.
