Estación Central

Estación Central (Spanish "central station") is a municipality ("comuna") of Chile located on the province of Santiago in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It has an area of 14.1 km², a population of 130,394 (2002 census) and an average household income of $19,011 in PPP US dollars (2000). Its name is given because the main station for all southbound passenger trains is located in its northeast corner.
