Estádio Olímpico João Havelange

Estádio Olímpico João Havelange, also known as Engenhão, is a multi-use stadium located in Engenho de Dentro neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil that is currently under construction. Once completed in 2007, it will be used mostly for football matches and athletics. It will be the center piece of the 2007 Pan American Games. The stadium will have a maximum capacity of 45,000 people.
The stadium is owned by the Rio de Janeiro City Hall. It is named after João Havelange, who was president of FIFA from 1974 to 1998.
