I firmly believe that there are times when my grandmother's advice is the wisest. When it came to people who never seemed to have anything nice to say, or who just couldn't be bothered to be nice to others, Grandma would say:
- "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
- "Sometimes the smartest thing to do is to just walk away."
- "Go ahead and let them play in the mud; don't go getting it on you trying to keep it off them."
There are some contributors on Wikipedia that have attacked me in the past, or who can't help but criticize me no matter what I do, regardless of whether I have the support of others, or indeed, if I am carrying out directives from the Arbitration Committee and/or Jimbo. When it comes to these users, I can't be bothered to respond to them. While they may not be trolls, they certainly have trolled me, and I refuse to feed them. Please note: Not everyone who has a comment archived here falls into this category.
The comments archived on this page are archived here for three reasons:
- They are from people I refuse to speak to, or are of a nature that inclines me to not respond to them.
- I don't want it on my talk page, but also don't believe in deleting comments without archiving them.
- I don't want them polluting my archives where I place legitimate commentary.
The rest of this page is dedicated to housing comments that fit the discription above.
[edit] Wikipope
I would appreciate if you would remove the "Wikipope" userbox from your page. I don't want to start a thing like with the C.C.W. Please remove it.--Anti-Anonymex2Come to my page! I've gone caliente loco! 00:08, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
If the C.C.W. is a parody of Wikipedia's hierarchy, than make it like a monarchy. Anyway, to make it a parody of a hierarchy, you don't need to parody The Commandments, The Sacraments, and the prayers.--Anti-Anonymex2Come to my page! I've gone caliente loco! 00:14, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
(The portion of this conversation that involved users who are not on my no-contact list continues on my talk page and will be archived in my regular archives)
