Esperanza will hold elections for the new Council (see WP:ESP/CHA#A. Leadership) seats in tranche B of the new system. As always, the election will be run by approval voting (vote for as many or few as you like, no opposing). Four (4) people are being elected and they will replace User:JoanneB and User:Pschemp in tranche B. They will serve a six (6) month term until December 31. Elections will begin on July 2 (at 15:00 UTC) and run until July 9 (at 15:00 UTC). Voters and candidates must be a member of Esperanza as of June 21 (listed here) to vote or run. To clarify, you must be listed here and must not be election staff to vote or run.

If you are ineligible to vote, or wish to exempt yourself from voting, you may list yourself as an election staff. It would be your job to verify votes, discount any illegal ones and update the tally. Sign with 4 tildes (~~~~) and place yourself in alphabetical order. Note: It is preferable that no more than 5 users sign up for this task.
