The seventh meeting of the Esperanza Advisory Council will be held on 13 August 2006. It will be a private meeting, but the log will be publically viewable after the meeting. This page is for any Esperanza member to suggest topics to be discussed, and will serve as an agenda of sorts.

[edit] Summary
- In order to make sure all users who join Esperanza are welcomed, a list of volunteers who are willing to welcome new Esperanzians is at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Members#Esperanza_welcomers. Please add yourself if you are interested; we want to make sure all new Esperanza members are welcomed!
- The In development section of the proposals page has been created, for proposed programs that have promise but need to be expanded more before being turned into programs. Please add your thoughts!
- The proposals page has been updated. Some proposals have been moved to the aforementioned "In development" section, some have been left as a proposal, and others have been archived.
- For those proposals that were a good idea but didn't necessarily constitute a program, WP:ESP/PROG#General Esperanzial Actions has been created.
- A partial opt-out list for the newsletter will be created; if Esperanza members do not want to receive the full newsletter on their talk page, they will be able to receive a link to it instead. Receiving the whole newsletter is highly encouraged, though!
- Two small pieces of charter reform will be decided on in a straw poll at Wikipedia talk:Esperanza/Governance. One involves filling the position of any councillers who may leave, the other involves reforming the charter.
- Until cooperation with the Kindness Campaign is better defined, it remains as a proposed program.
- In order to make the Esperanza Front Page give more of an impression of Esperanza that we like, a page for discussing the redesign can be found at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Front page redesign.
