ESPN Classic (Canada)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
ESPN Classic is a Canadian category 2 digital cable television channel owned by TSN, Bell Globemedia and ESPN featuring classic sports events and movies.
[edit] Programming
Sporting events shown on ESPN Classic must take place at least 18 months prior to their broadcast. Few original ESPN Classic USA shows air on the Canadian channel, and the channel appears in very few houses due to the à la carte payment option provided by Canada's cable industry. Most days programming consists of wrestling and Ultimate Fighting, old boxing, American Gladiators, Curling and random old sporting events with the score given to viewers ahead of time on the on screen display summary that comes with the cable box.
