Esna Park Drive

Esna Park Drive is an aterial road in York Region or Town of Markham in Ontario. Its direction heads east-west between Woodbine Avenue and Alden Road, then changes to north-south between Alden Road (14th Avenue) and Steeles Avenue. South of Steeles Avenue, Esna Park Drive is referred to Pharmacy Avenue. West of Woodbine Avenue, it is referred to as John Street.

Esna Park Drive's original purpose was to provide efficiency for staff in IBM to get to Steeles Avenue and Woodbine Avenue, and to relieve turning traffic at the intersection of Steeles Avenue and Woodbine Avenue. The street also serve as an extension of York Regional Road 71. Some other roads that are extensions of York Regional Road 71 are Alden Road, Esna Park Drive, John Street (Markham), and parts of Centre Street in City of Vaughan.

Esna Park Drive is four lane from Steeles Avenue to Woodbine Avenue, which means there are two lanes per direction.

Esna Park Drive have 3 major curves. Esna Park Drive also have 5 intersections with traffic lights.

The street is very quiet on Saturday and Sunday, with occasional cars passing by, however, the street is extremely busy during office hours, with frequent cars and trucks travelling along. The street has a total of 2.25 km length.

Esna Park Drive is a modern urban road, paved and smooth.The road is fixed recently, in 2004. Before that, the road is paved with bricks and potholes are frequently reported. Potholes are not reported in the area right now. There is a pedestrian crossing near the intersection of this street and Steeles Avenue.
