Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!
Thank you for the PfoHo article; can we have a photo too?

- Thanks for dropping me a line. I was in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a few years ago, but didn't take many pictures. I'm sure someone will snap one! Gareth Hughes 23:58, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- Hi, thanks for the note but I don't understand it, what do you mean "try"? I clicked on the GMA "Current Autoblocks" link and it shows an active autoblock, but why did that affect my username after it was unblocked? (I apologize if that question is gibberish but I don't understand all the mechanics of blocking, autoblocking, and unblocking (and reblocking)). And by the way, who are you? [edit] Lavinia Williams
Thanks for contributing the Lavinia Williams article. I also saw your discussion of additional sources on the article's Talk page. It would be just as easy, and more informative for Wikipedia's readers, to list the references in the article's references section. Just a suggestion.
By the way, an article on the American Negro Ballet would also be welcome. Another surprising omission.
Thanks again.
