Escape from the Carnival of Horrors was R.L. Stine's first written gamebook as well as the first released book in the all new spin-off series, Give Yourself Goosebumps. It was released in July of 1995 on Scholastic Press. In addition to the usual choices, this book includes a number of special gimmicks that make it more fun, most of them involving carnival games.
