I'd like to raise a flag for that last paragraph. I don't think first person should be used in articles and this sentence "no one reads Becker without their world view changing." is, I think, pushing NPOV. Mimsie 20:52, 16 Jun 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Rewrite?

I think this article could use a thorough re-write. While I have no problem with utilizing information from the Ernest Becker Foundation website, I do think it needs to be included in the context of a proper biographical article. A few essential and basic facts about Becker are left out (Where was he educated? Where did he work?) and the PR-feel of the foundation's text leaves out any discussion, critical or otherwise, of his theories. Inoculatedcities 13:54, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
