Ernest Gillick

Ernest Gillick was a British sculptor, born in Bradford, England in 1874. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London, and later received commissions for work throughout Britain and abroad. He married another sculptor, Mary Tutin, in 1905. She was best known for her effigy of Elizabeth II used on British coinage from 1953-1967.
