Ernest George Mardon

Ernest George Mardon is a retired English professor who worked at the University of Lethbridge. He wrote several dozen books mostly on the history of Alberta, Canada. He was a founding member of the Antarctic Institute of Canada in 1985. He has three children including the famous Antarctican Austin Mardon. He is a world class scholar also in the area of Anglo-Saxon studies. In 2006 he was nominated for full membership in the International Astronomical Union. He served in the Middle East in the British Army as an officer. He currently lives in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
